However, by mid-2023 hyperscalers were actively ordering networking equipment for AI GPU clusters. Arista's earnings call commentary (not in SEC filing) first highlighted growing AI networking demand. Conservative estimate: ~2% of revenue attributable to 400G switches sold specifically for AI back-end fabric. Math: 2% x $1,459M = ~$29M. This is early-stage AI cluster networking -- small relative to total but nonzero.
